The story of my first cubing competition:

My first comp was Welcome Back Wellington 2020. Walking into the Victoria University Kelburn Campus, and seeing all the tables with Kiwi cubing icons was, in a word exciting. Dwyane Ramos, Ben Kirby and many others turned my legs to jelly. I competed in 2x2, 3x3 and Pyraminx. I finished 55th, and thus did not make the second round for 3x3. However, I finished 45th in 2x2 and 37th in Pyraminx, so I made the second round for 2x2 and 3x3. I ended up 30th in 2x2 and 40th in round two, so I missed out on the finals. It was one of the coolest experiences regardless of my results.

It was so fun! I wouldn't swap it for the world!
